French Victorian Garnet Pearl Ruby Silver-Topped 18 Karat Gold Beetle Bar Brooch
- Featuring a stylized beetle with garnet cabochon wings; deeply reddish-purple
- Accented by 1.5 mm round natural freshwater pearls, cream in body color with very good luster
- Heavily oxidized with spindly legs and round cut ruby eyes, well-matched to garnet wings
- Fixed on a bar style brooch that terminates on one end as a 5.5 mm round garnet ball; purplish-red in color
- Completed by pin stem with closure, stamped with French assay mark for 18 karat gold
- Beetle tested as silver-topped 18 karat gold
